Bio4Energy Platform Wheel 2022.RESEARCH

From forest trees as raw material, to energy, chemicals and materials.

With world-class interdisciplinary research and close interactions with the industry, Bio4Energy creates conditions for the future.​

​We develop highly efficient, environmentally-safe biorefinery processes from forest raw materials, industrial residual streams and organic waste.​

​Our research is conducted within seven research and development platforms, engaging more than 200 researchers. Each year, around 160 scientific articles are published in high-quality international journals.​

​Through strategic collaborative projects, we facilitate the creation of synergies and enable our researchers to address new exciting research problems.​
